The journey begins along the rugged Chilean coastline, winding through the arid, sun-baked terrain to Antofagasta, where the vast emptiness of the desert stretches endlessly ahead. From there, the route crosses into Argentina via the iconic Route 40, a legendary highway that cuts through dramatic landscapes. Riding through the Pan de Azucar National Park, the scenery transforms into a surreal blend of jagged mountains, extensive salt flats, and towering sand dunes.
One of the highlights is the fascinating sight of the Hand of the Desert, a giant sculpture standing stark against the barren backdrop. As the route travels through the desert, the landscape gradually shifts to the imposing Andes, where the air grows thinner, and the towering peaks offer a breathtaking contrast to the stark desert below. This thrilling ride offers an unparalleled mix of isolation, beauty and adventure.

Experiencing South America from South to North through Patagonia is an unforgettable adventure, starting in the southernmost points of the continent at Ushuaia in Argentina and Punta Arenas in Chile.
The journey begins with the raw beauty of Tierra del Fuego before heading up Argentina’s legendary Route 40, a long stretch of highway that weaves through the stunning Patagonian steppe, crossing remote towns, rugged mountains, and vast valleys. After crossing into Chile, the route then joins the Carretera Austral, also known as Route 7, where the landscape transforms dramatically into dense forests, fjords, and snow-capped peaks.
This famous highway connects Puerto Montt to Villa O'Higgins, offering some of the most picturesque and challenging roads in South America.
The final leg of the journey takes you to Osorno, where the towering volcanoes and lakes of the Chilean Lake District mark the end of a thrilling ride that has spanned the untamed beauty of two countries, blending diverse ecosystems, remote wilderness and exhilarating motorcycle terrain.
